Sudanese Youth Theatre

As part of my work with the Sudanese Community in Bristol, I facilitated a series of drama workshops with young people that explored themes such as culture, identity and the Sudanese Uprising. The project culminated in a final performance based on popular folktales called ' Stories under the Lemon Trees'. The project was led by myself in partnership with acta Community Theatre. At the end of the drama project, the group got together I ran a series of holiday intensive workshops that combined drama activities and singing, culminating in a performance on Sudan's National Day Celebration in Bristol.
