Games without Borders

In March 2021, I was awarded funding from West of England Combined Authority (WECA), to develop Games without Borders: a creative project aiming to create a valuable online resource of popular drama activities delivered in Arabic and adapted to the Arabic cultural context. Throughout the project, I worked with freelance artists and participants from the Sudanese and Arab communities in Bristol to research and produce a video archive of established British drama activities, storytelling exercises as well as childhood games from the Arab world; explained in Arabic by myself and performed by Arabic speaking participants.
